Product Description

Biona creamed coconut is made from the finest organic coconuts, grown without the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilisers. The desiccated coconut used to produce our creamed coconut is dehydrated at a temperature of 105c, however no heat is applied during the subsequent production process. Creamed coconut can be used to add richness and flavour to all manner of foreign cuisine dishes. Creamed coconut is also suitable for use in desserts, cakes and as a substitute for coconut milk (simply dissolve 50g in 100ml or warm water).

Directions

Finely chop the onion, red pepper,leek, celery and carrot and saut gently in olive oil in soup pot. After 3-4 mins add finely chopped Brocolli stir and saute for 3 mins. Put the garlic, ginger, chilli and lemongrass in a blender, with the juice and zest of the lime and blend to a paste. Add this paste to the onion mixture and stir in. Add 500ml water and bring to the boil. Simmer 5 mins then add creamed coconut. Blend and season to taste.
