Indigestion or disturbances in bowel movements after viral or bacterial infections of the intestine, especially chronic (lasting more than 15 days). Conditions after taking antibiotics , which have violated the qualities of the normal intestinal flora. Butyric acid has beneficial effects on epithelial (surface) cells of the colon. It is one of the few substances that are directly used by the intestinal cells without passing processing in the liver. Thus, mucous membrane becomes thicker, healthier and metabolically active. This has several beneficial effects - reduction of inflammation, healing of previously damaged mucous membrane, improvement of the operation of the colon as a whole, which leads to better suction and respectively absorption of nutrients and, therefore, weight gain. Healthier mucous membrane affects and improves the quality of "beneficial" bacteria (symbiosis). These effects are favorable for conditions and diseases which are associated with breach of the integrity and operation of the mucous membrane or have got increased demands towards it.

Ingredients

Contains: Butyric acid (as calcium and sodium salts), Inactive ingredients: Vegetable oils, Magnesium stearate, gelatin capsules. Does not contain: Yeast, Gluten, Maize, Dairy Products, Dyes, Fillers, Enhancers. The product has a specific odor. Recommended dose: 2 capsules three times a day, with food. Each capsule contains 285 mg butyric acid (in the form of gastro-resistant granules).
