Product description

A easy way to make this classic Spanish dessert. Just like making custard, you simply add milk and sugar, bring to the boil and pour into ramekins or the classic Crema Catalana terracotta dishes to cool and set. Before serving, caramelise a layer of sugar either with the traditional "caramelising iron" or cooks blow torch.

Ingredients

Corn Starch, Salt, Maltodextrin, saffron Extract & Artificial flavourings

Directions

Mix the contents of the sachet with 250 ml of cold milk. Add 2 eggs and mix well. Pour the mixture into a baking bowl and bake in a water bath for 45 minutes. Allow to cool and then caramelize the surface with sugar and a caramel burner or under the oven grill.
