This special variety of little tomatoes is grown in the hills, at an altitude of over 500 meters, in the Val Fortore and precisely in the Beneventano municipality of San Bartolomeo in Galdo. The microclimate and the conformation of the soil allow it to be cultivated without irrigation.
The Datterini tomatoes are a little tomatoes with the characteristic elongated shape, high sugar content, with few seeds and a
thin skin. Poor in calories, it is rich in mineral salts and vitamins as well as antioxidants.
