Our Kabusecha green tea is cultivated at Narao in Shizuka Prefecture, an area rich in clean air and water 650m high above sea level. Our Kabusecha Hikari is made from an exceptionally large leaf and boasts a rich aroma and overwhelming umami, similar to Japanese dashi. This exquisite tea leaf is produced in small quantities each year and is regarded as a Rare Tea.

Cultivated and harvested at an altitude of 650m, this high-quality Sencha green tea is undoubtedly one of our favourite teas. Throughout history, tea lovers have prized leaves cultivated at high elevations, which helps to maintain the natural sweetness and complexity of the tea leaf. With its fragrant aroma and unique complexity and depth, Midori makes for an elegant taste with defined umami notes.
