60 VCaps of chewable digestive enzymes, to ensure the efficient digestion of proteins, fats and carbohydrates.
Free from sugar, lactose, yeast, gluten and wheat.
Digestive enzymes help foods break down in the digestive tract - starting in the mouth as food is eaten and continuing through the stomach and intestines.
The stomach produces three main types of enzyme. These are generalised and collectively called; lipase, for fat digestion; protease, for protein digestion; amylase, for carbohydrate digestion.
Digest Plus is a great combination of all three of the main digestive enzyme groups combined with peppermint oil, to help settle the stomach, and probiotic bacteria (Lactobacillus Acidophilus) to help make sure the intestinal flora levels are correct for proper efficient digestion.
