90 Caps of a fantastic combination of Marine Lipids, Starflower and Evening Primrose Oil, ensuring an essential intake of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, to help regulate many body functions including hormones, blood pressure, healthy skin, the reproductive cycle, brain function, joint mobility and heart and cardiovascular health. Free from sugar, lactose, yeast, gluten and wheat.
Fatty acids, sometimes referred to as vitamin F, are divided into several types, the most common of which are omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9.
Omega-6 fatty acids include linolenic acid, gamma-linolenic acid and arachidonic acid, which are all polyunsaturated. Omega-6 dietary sources are usually plant derived, particularly seeds and nuts.
Omega-3 fatty acids include EPA, DHA and alpha-linoleic acid, which are also polyunsaturated. Omega-3 fatty acids appear mainly in oily fish, such as Salmon and Mackerel, although there are some plant sources like Flaxseed, but these generally have much lower content. Several reports suggest that by increasing our intake of fatty acids we can maintain our brain function, metabolism and energy levels and help maintain our immune system.
Omega Complex gives the best of both worlds, combining GLA, EPA and DHA to obtain maximum effectiveness and ensure balanced omega fatty acid intake.
