90 Caps of 1000mg Flaxseed Oil, to naturally provide omega-3, 6 & 9 to help with joint mobility, heart health and brain function. Free from sugar, lactose, yeast, gluten and wheat. Fatty acids, sometimes referred to as vitamin F, are divided into several types, the most common of which are omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9. Omega-6 fatty acids include linolenic acid, gamma-linolenic acid and arachidonic acid, which are all polyunsaturated. Omega-6 dietary sources are usually plant derived, particularly seeds and nuts. Omega-3 fatty acids include EPA, DHA and alpha-linoleic acid, which are also polyunsaturated. Omega-3 fatty acids appear mainly in oily fish, such as Salmon and Mackerel, although there are some plant sources like Flaxseed. Omega-9 fatty acids are considered non-essential but are a beneficial fatty acid and the most common form is oleic acid. Omega-9 fatty acids are monounsaturated. The most common source of omega-9 is Flaxseed. Omega-9 fatty acids help to promote a healthy vascular system and support the function of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids by maintaining healthy cholesterol levels.
