Product Description

The Maggi Tamarind Sauce is deliciously tangy tamarind sauce full of flavour and spice. Add tanginess and spicy flavour to any dish. Great dipping sauce for snacks, adding a pop of authentic tamarind flavour to every bite.

Ingredients

Water, Sugar, Tamarind Paste (15%), Salt, Modified Maize Starch, Cumin Powder, Ginger Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Acid (Acetic Acid), Preservative (Sodium Benzoate)

Directions

Use as a dipping sauce, marinade, base for curries or stir-fries, glaze, or salad dressing. For dipping, serve at room temperature. For cooking, heat gently before use. For marinating, apply to meat, poultry, or fish and let it sit for at least 30 minutes before cooking. For curries or stir-fries, add to pan and simmer for 5-10 minutes. For glazing, brush onto food during the last minutes of cooking. For salad dressings, whisk into oil and vinegar.
