Product description

Gelatus, known as gelatine is a translucent, colourless, flavourless food ingredient, commonly derived from collagen taken from animal body parts. Native to Germany, it is brittle when dry and rubbery when moist. Gelatine typically has a mild, somewhat neutral taste with a slightly sweet and slightly sour flavour profile. This product is mainly used as a gelling agent in foods. It is found in most gummy candies, marshmallows, gelatine desserts, ice creams, dips and yogurts.

Directions

Take the gelatin leaves and soak them in cold water for a few minutes. Then heat the liquid in your recipe over low heat and add the dissolved gelatin to it. Stir well until the gelatin is completely dissolved and the desired consistency is achieved.
