Flavour: Storage and usage instructions: Store in a cool and dry place. Craftsmanship: We manufacture our barley flakes with the utmost care in our own flake mill. There, the whole grain is steamed and then rolled into a beautiful flake. This preserves all the ingredients of the full grain grain. For large leaf flakes, a grain of grain results in a flake. Barley flakes are particularly compatible and taste mildly aromatic. The grain provides a lot of vitamins and minerals, such as B vitamins, calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium and zinc, as well as satiating fibre. Barley is particularly rich in the fibre beta-glucan. This makes the cereals particularly healthy, because beta-glucan has a positive effect on cholesterol and blood sugar levels. Processing/preparation: our barley flakes can be enjoyed without boiling or soaking. Simply mix with yogurt, milk, vegetable alternatives or juice and enjoy warm or cold.
Refine as desired, e.g. with fresh fruit, dried fruits, nut smus, jam, honey or spices.
In addition to the classic use as a cereal ingredient, barley flakes also taste particularly in desserts or in pastries such as biscuits, cereal bars or bread, but also in savory dishes such as patties.

Recipe: Hearty breakfast porridge with fruit
Approx. Boil 120 ml of liquid water and milk/soy drink and remove from heat. Stir in 40 g of barley flakes and a little grated lemon zest, leave to swell briefly and sweeten as desired. Possibly add some liquid. A delicious breakfast with berries or other fruit. Certification/en EU organic seal
