Product Description

This spiced chickpea masala is a no-brainer. It is absolutely delicious and takes dish that would take hours to make from scratch to something you can whip up in minutes. But, it tastes every bit as complex and homemade! For people in Punjab, this is a classic soul food dish - tasty, wholesome, healthy and pure plant-powered protein. It is best served with Indian flatbreads.

Ingredients

Cooked Chickpeas 34% (Chickpea, Water), Water, Onions, Sunflower Oil, Tomato Paste, Ginger, Salt, Ground and Whole Spices, Garlic, Coriander Powder, Cumin, Pomegranate Seeds

Directions

Serves 2-3 1. Heat 1 tsp of oil in a small pan, add spices and cook for 20 seconds. 2. Add the meat, brown lightly for 2-3 minutes, add the base sauce and simmer for 2 minutes. 3. Stir in the main sauce and simmer for 3-5 minutes or until the meat is cooked through (1- 1 1/4 hours for shoulder and leg and 30-35 minutes for mince)
